Dear Colleagues and Friends

Thank you for visiting the official website of the Iraqi League for Bone and Joint Health (ILBJH). ILBJH was founded in Baghdad, Iraq back in 2013 with 100 members in 2013, and as time passes, the numbers have grown rapidly and now houses 246 full members. Since its foundation in 2013, the ILBJH has been recognized in the wide-ranging spectrum of Iraqi Rheumatology as a prestigious and respectable non-profit organization. ILJBH is committed to advancing rheumatology in Iraq and issues efforts that lead to progress in the practice and education of rheumatology in our country where there is an exceptional need. ILBJH has established a solid foundation that is still growing and I am sure it will continue to grow.

Indeed ILJBH has gone a long way from its early days. I hope ILJBH will continue to attract many members who can contribute actively and that more and more doctors aspire to become Rheumatologists. The committee has planned several educational and exciting activities with the hope that this will further enhance, share and disseminate our knowledge and bring us together as a committee as well as enable us to interact with other colleagues. 

Within this enthusiastic and committed context, I have the honor to extend a warm welcome to invite you to attend and participate in our ILBJH upcoming congress that will be held in Baghdad on December 2022.

Once more, the enthusiasm, interest and passion for Rheumatology bring us together to share our accumulated knowledge and experience, which will allow us to improve our patients’ quality of life.
